This section explains how to release copy security groups from virtual enclosures.
Point
When releasing copy security groups from a virtual enclosure, make sure that ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager copies are not being performed on the virtual disks in the virtual enclosure registered with the copy security groups.
Note
Copy security groups cannot be released from the virtual enclosure if ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager copies are being performed on the virtual disks in the virtual enclosure registered with the copy security groups. Release the copy security groups from the virtual enclosure after the copies have finished.
Open the [Release Copy Security Group] dialog box using either of the following methods:
Right-click on the virtual enclosure (where the copy security groups are to be released) in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Release Copy Security Group].
Select the virtual enclosure (where the copy security groups are to be released) in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Operation] - [Virtual Enclosure] - [Release Copy Security Group].
The [Release Copy Security Group] dialog box is displayed.
Select the copy security group or groups you want to release, and click the [OK] button.
You can select all copy security groups by clicking the [Select All] button. If all copy security groups are selected, you can deselect all copy security groups by clicking the [Clear] button.
The [Release Copy Security Group] confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click the [OK] button.
The results of releasing the copy security groups from the virtual enclosure are displayed in the [Release Copy Security Group] message dialog box. Click the [Close] button.
Use the "View and Create" window to check that the specified copy security groups have been released from the virtual enclosure.
