To use the replication suspend/resume function of ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager, a VS900 management area must be created in advance.
At least one VS900 management area must be created for each switch group.
This section explains how to create a VS900 management area and how to display VS900 management area information.
Open the "VS900 Management Area(Create)" dialog box.
Select "Virtual Storage Pool" from the Composition Data tree area and then select [Operation] - [VS900 Management Area] - [Create].
The "VS900 Management Area (Create)" dialog box appears.
CA ports are listed. Select one or more CA ports for which you want to create a VS900 management area, then click the <OK> button.
You can select all CA ports by clicking the <Select All> button. If all CA ports are selected, you can clear the selections of all CA ports by clicking the <Clear> button.
For the VS900 Model 300 and Virtualization Blade, switch device names are displayed as "virtualization switch name (host name)".
When a VS900 management area has been successfully created, the "VS900 Management Area (Create)" dialog box appears.
If a VS900 management area has not been successfully created, the "VS900 Management Area (Create)" error dialog box appears. Select the displayed CA port to see detailed error information for that VS900 management area. Check the cause of the failure in creating the VS900 management area and click the <Close> button.
A VS900 management area has now been created.
Open the "Display VS900 Management Area" dialog box.
Select "Virtual Storage Pool" from the Composition Data tree area and then select [Operation] - [VS900 Management Area] - [Display].
The "VS900 Management Area (View)" dialog box appears, listing VS900 management areas.
