device name : device disk name : disk group name : group
Resynchronization of the mirror group group failed and the disk disk is now INVALID.
device is the disk number of disk.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk group name : group
Synchronization copying of the mirror group group failed and the disk disk is now INVALID.
device is the disk number of disk.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk
The physical disk device of the disk disk was removed from the system and is no longer available. The possible causes are as follows.
Cause a: A disk managed with PSDM was removed from the system by mistake.
Cause b: Before a disk managed with PSDM was removed from the system, the disk was not removed from PSDM management.
Cause c: Before a disk managed with PSDM was swapped, the disk was not removed from PSDM management.
In the event of cause a, b, or c, take action as described in resolution a, b, or c respectively.
Resolution a: Add the relevant disk back to the system, and then perform disk removal and addition. For more information on how to remove disks, see "Preparing for Disk Swap (Removing Disks);" for more information on how to add disks, see "Restoring Disks after Swapping (Adding Disks)."
Resolution b: From PSDM management, remove the disk removed from the system.
> sdxsysdisk -R -d disk
Resolution c: Referring to "Disk Swap," follow proper procedures for exchanging disks.
group name : group
Only one disk exists in the mirror group group and disk data is not redundant.
Add one or more disks to group. For more information on how to add disks, see "Restoring Disks after Swapping (Adding Disks)."
group name : group device names : devices disk names : disks
The mirror group group was removed automatically when the system was booted. Automatic mirror group removal may occur, for example, if no VALID disk exists in the mirror group, reserved partition content contains an error, or boot disk restoration occurs.
devices are the disk numbers of the disks removed from group.
disks are the disk names of the disks removed from group.
Take actions as follows and set the mirroring configuration as needed.
If any, delete unnecessary boot entries with the bootcfg command.
If a disk failure occurred, replace the faulty disk with another.
If any, remove unnecessary partitions with "Disk Management" or the diskpart command.
If drive letter assignment was not performed normally, reassign the drive letter with "Disk Management" or the diskpart command.
device name : device
An error was found in reserved partition content, and the reserved partition on the physical disk device was removed.
Delete unnecessary partitions first and add device to the mirror group.
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset
A read request to the physical disk device ended abnormally and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset wait time : time
A read request to the physical disk device ended abnormally and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset
A write request to the physical disk device ended abnormally and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset wait time : time
A write request to the physical disk device ended abnormally due to timeout and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset
A JRM read request to the physical disk device ended abnormally and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset wait time : time
A JRM read request to the physical disk device ended abnormally due to timeout and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset
A JRM write request to the physical disk device ended abnormally and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk error status : error offset : offset wait time : time
A JRM write request to the physical disk device ended abnormally due to timeout and the disk disk is now in ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
device name : device disk name : disk group name : group error reason : reason
In some process other than read/write, the disk disk came into the ERROR status.
Check the event log and other relevant information to pinpoint the faulty part on the hardware and swap the failed disk or component. For more information on how to swap disks, see "Disk Swap."
