Appendix B Messages |
This section describes driver messages and explains what to do in response to the messages.
Driver messages are output to the Windows event log.
The event log can be viewed in Windows Event Viewer.
To open Event Viewer, select [start]-[Control Panel]-[Administrative Tools]-[Event Viewer].
Italic texts in the messages denote variables and vary depending on the situations where the messages are output. The following table shows variables and the descriptions.

Driver messages are categorized into the following three types listed from higher to lower severity.

This type of message is output to give warning when an error that does not cause the system to pause was detected. |
