8.4.5 Deactivating GDS Resources

Deactivate any GDS resources that have been activated.

The procedure for deactivating GDS resources is as follows:

  1. Unmount the file system on the shared disk.

    Unmount the file system using the following operating system command:

    umount mount point for the file system on the shared disk

  2. Stop the GDS volume from the Web-Based Admin View.

Refer to the PRIMECLUSTER Global Disk Services Configuration and Administration Guide for more information on stopping GDS volumes.
