8.4.2 Activating GDS Resources

Make the file system on the shared disk recognizable from the server. The procedure for activating GDS resources is as follows:

  1. Start the GDS volume from the Web-Based Admin View.

    Refer to the PRIMECLUSTER Global Disk Services Configuration and Administration Guide for more information on starting the GDS volume.
  2. Mount the file system on the shared disk.

    Mount the file system using the following operating system command:

    mount  mount point for the file system on the shared disk
