B.2.3 Mounting disks

Mounting replaced disks in the system can be classified into the following five cases:

• Mounting a disk that has been hot-swapped after automatic unmounting
• Mounting a disk that has been cold-swapped after automatic unmounting
• Mounting a disk that has been hot-swapped after unmounting by means other than GDS
• Mounting a disk that has been cold-swapped after unmounting by means other than GDS
• Mounting a disk for which a hot-swap operation has completed without the disk having been incorporated into the system.

  

  When the system has been shut down after hot swapping without properly mounting the swapped disk, follow the procedure described in B.2.3.1, "Mounting a disk that has been hot-swapped after automatic unmounting."
