3.3.14.2 Update Firmware of Main Unit

For PRIMEPOWER900/1500/2500/HPC2500 models, this function is not supported.

The following describes how to perform Hardware Control Program (HCP) Administration:

The following operation should only be performed by a certified service engineer.

Current Hardware Control Program (HCP) Revision Display & Update

Operation

  1. From the Hardware Control Program (HCP) Administration menu, select [Current Hardware Control Program (HCP) Revision Display & Update].

    The information about which firmware has been applied to the main unit is displayed.

  2. Select the firmware to be applied to the current environment from the registered firmware and perform the required operations according to the menu.

    The selected firmware is applied to the main unit.

Hardware Control Program (HCP) Update History

Operation

  1. From the Hardware Control Program (HCP) Administration menu, select [Hardware Control Program (HCP) Update History].

    The update history of the main unit firmware is displayed.
