The transmission path monitoring daemon starts automatically when the system is initiated, and stops automatically at system stop.
The transmission path monitoring daemons are executed on the number of processes of which the logical interfaces are activated. This means that one process of the transmission path monitoring daemon is started for one logical interface.
The process name of the transmission path monitoring daemon is "mpnetd."
