AdvancedCopy Manager performs high-speed backup and restore of SQL Server databases constructed on the ETERNUS Disk storage system by cooperating with SQL Server.
Backup and restore of SQL Server databases can be operated using a command or Web Console (wizard).
When Using a Command

When Using Web Console (Wizard)
Backup and restore of SQL Server databases can be performed simply by using the wizard via Web Console. Refer to "10.5 Backup and Restore Using Wizard for SQL Server" for more details.
In order to perform restoration by using the wizard, for every ETERNUS Disk storage system subject to restoration, the license is required for the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager for Microsoft SQL Server.
Registration of the licenses are performed with Web Console. Refer to "Register License" in the Web Console Guide for how to register the licenses.
Information
The SQL Server backup execution command and SQL Server restore execution command are provided for the backup management function and for the replication management function respectively.
