AdvancedCopy Manager services are automatically stopped when the system is stopped. If you must stop an individual service for some reason, manually stop the service as follows.
Note
Be sure to stop AdvancedCopy Manager as a resource in a cluster from the failover cluster manager. Do not stop it from the Windows services screen.
How to Stop Services on the Management Server
When the Management Server is not used for a cluster operation
If the ETERNUS VASA Provider function is used, stop the ETERNUS Information Provider service from the Windows services screen.
Stop the ETERNUS SF Manager services.
From the Windows services screen, stop the following five services in the order shown below.
ETERNUS SF Manager Apache Service
ETERNUS SF Manager Tomcat Service
ETERNUS SF Manager Postgres Service
ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option
AdvancedCopy Manager COM Service
If the SNMP Trap function and the ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service are used, stop the ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service from the Windows services screen.
When the Management Server is used for a cluster operation
Stop the ETERNUS SF Manager services.
Use the Failover Cluster Manager to stop the transactions of ETERNUS SF Manager.
If the SNMP Trap function and the ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service are used, stop the ETERNUS SF SNMP Trap service from the Windows services screen.
Note
If the ETERNUS SF Manager services are stopped, other ETERNUS SF products that share the services cannot be operated.
How to Stop Services on the Managed Server
When the Managed Server is not used for a cluster operation
Stop the AdvancedCopy Manager COM service from the Windows services screen.
When the Managed Server is used for a cluster operation
Use the failover cluster manager to stop the business server where AdvancedCopy Manager's agent is installed.
