On the FJcloud portal, create the user to forcibly stop the virtual server in the cluster system with the following values.
These settings are not necessary in a single-node cluster.
If the user is already created in an FJcloud-O environment, you can use that user without creating a new user.
Item name | Value |
---|---|
User name | Arbitrary user name |
Role | Developer |
Then, in the IaaS management of the FJcloud portal, add the created user to the project where the virtual server is to be created, and grant the following role.
Item name | Value |
---|---|
Role | Operator role |
The user authentication method can be "Password Authentication" or "Certificate + Password Authentication".
On the FJcloud portal, set the authentication method to be used.
To use "Certificate + Password Authentication", issue and download the client certificate of the user from the FJcloud portal.
If you have already downloaded the client certificate, you do not need to do so.
Note
The password for the user expires in 90 days and must be changed periodically. For the procedure on changing a password, refer to "6.1 Changing a Password Periodically."
The client certificate for the user expires in 3 years and must be changed periodically. For the procedure on updating the client certificate, see "6.2 Updating the Certificate File".
If FJcloud-O fails to authenticate a user consecutively, the user is locked out. While the user is locked out, the shutdown facility cannot operate normally and the cluster application will be suspended. We recommend that you create a dedicated user for the user for the forced stop. If the user is locked out, enter the correct password 30 minutes after locking or reissue the password to unlock it.
