Registering the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option license allows changing a one layer Tier pool to a two layer or three layer Tier pool, and the Automated Storage Tiering can be operated.
The procedure for that is as follows:
Register the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Optimization Option license.
Refer to "Register License" in the Web Console Guide for the registration procedure.
Change the layer number of the Tier pool, and operate the Automated Storage Tiering.
Refer to "Change Number of Layers of Tier Pool" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for Optimization Function for information on how to change the layer number.
