To add a new cluster node, use the AWS Management Console and perform the following steps.
Configure a security group on the VPC endpoint as described in "A.2.1.2 Creating API Endpoint".
Create EFS according to "A.2.1.3 Creating Data Storage Area".
Create an AMI as described in "A.2.2 Creating Image".
Create an instance as described in "A.2.3 Creating Cluster Node".
Configure CloudWatch alarms as described in "A.2.4.3 Configuring CloudWatch Alarm".
Add items to the table as described in Creating Items in "A.2.4.4 Configuring Amazon DynamoDB".
Add an integer value that identifies the cluster node to the subnet tag "fujitsu.pclswr.idlist". For more information about tags, see "A.2.1.1 Creating VPC and Subnet".
Add an integer value to the AWS Lambda environment variable "PCLSWR_SYSTEM_LIST" that identifies the cluster node. For more information about environment variables, see "A.2.4.1 Configuring AWS Lambda".
Verify that the deployment was successful according to the "A.2.5 Post-Implementation Review".
Note
The options you choose when you create the instance (Instance type, set instance details, add storage, etc.) depend on the requirements of the cluster node that you are adding.
