A.1.4 Disk Design

Describes the disk configuration required to operate a smart workload recovery feature. The design should be based on the disk configuration.

Place shared data in EFS. If you are creating an EFS file system, select "Regional" for the availability and durability options. Redundant data is stored in multiple AZ. Design the mount target for EFS to be on subnet of AZ for which you want to switch cluster nodes.

EFS file systems are provided for the following purposes.

RMS logs

Provide a file system for EFS to store RMS logs. When you create an EFS file system, specify the following options.For more information, see the official AWS documentation.

Data shared by users
