A.12 TFOConfig.ini Parameter

This file is saved at the following location of the Server Node as a setting file of Storage Cluster Controller:

($ENV_DIR means "Environment Directory" specified at the Agent installation.)

Reflecting Contents of Setting File

The file is read and used when Agent starts.

To operate according to the contents of the file the restart of Agent is needed.

Customization

IP

Specify the IP address of a monitored storage device.

In IP address, IPv4 or IPv6 address can be entered.

Specify the IP address of one device in one row. If there are a number of monitored devices, enter their IP addresses in as many rows as monitored devices.

IP=<IP address of monitored storage device>

Note

  • IPv6 address supports global addresses alone.

  • If the specified IP address format is not correct, ignore the specification and continue the operation.

  • If the same IP address is specified, do not regard it as error but monitor the specified IP address.

  • Storage Cluster Controller operates on the following OSs:

    • Windows (Restricted to OSs where Storage Cruiser's agent can operate)

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (for Intel64)

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (for Intel64)

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (for Intel64)

    • Oracle Solaris 11

    • Oracle Solaris 10

    Other than for the OSs listed above, the definition of this parameter is ignored.

Examples

When monitoring storage devices whose IP address is 192.0.2.10 and 192.0.2.11:
