This software supports fault management and linkage to the management software, for the ETERNUS LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2/LT140/LT260/LT270 S2.
Connecting to the network
At the device, perform the network connection settings to connect to the network. Refer to the manuals of the device for details on how to perform it.
SNMP Trap setting
Set the SNMP Trap destination address to the IP address for the Management Server on which this software is running, using management software for the tape library server you use. If the Management Server is operated in a cluster configuration, set the logical IP address of the cluster as the destination.
Restart the device after the setting.
Management software linkage
Use the management software provided with a tape library device for device management such as checking the detailed status of the tape library device and the various settings. The management software can be called directly from Web Console. In advance, setup the following address as the management software on Web Console. The ipAddress is the IP address of the device.

Access path setting and display
This software does not set the Fibre Channel Interface for the tape library device, but displays access paths by using SwitchZoning or StorageAffinity on the server node.
When setting the Fibre Channel Interface, use management software for the tape library device.
