15.3.3 Change SNMP Communication Settings

The procedure to change the SNMP communication settings is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click System.

2. On the Category pane, click SNMP Configuration.

3. On the Main pane, click the target device.

4. On the Action pane, click Modify under SNMP Configuration.

5. Enter a new SNMP Communication information.

   For Setting to SNMPv1

   1. Check the "v1" radio button in the SNMP Version field.

   2. Enter the SNMP community name.

   For Setting to SNMPv3

   1. Check the "v3" radio button in the SNMP Version field.

   2. Check the radio button of the target user from among the SNMPv3 MIB access users.

6. Confirm the information, if no problem then click Modify.
