The procedure to restore an Exchange Server database using a wizard is as follows:
Immediately after login, on the Action pane of the Overview screen on the Main tab, click for Exchange Server under Restore Wizard.
A list of servers is displayed by selecting Server on the global navigation tab, click for Exchange Server under Restore Wizard on the Action pane.
The welcome page is displayed. Check the message displayed in the Information area, and then click Next.
The Select of Mailbox Server page is displayed. From the displayed Mailbox Servers, select one to be restored, and then click Next.
The Select of Mailbox Database page is displayed. Select one database to be restored. Also select a restoration method (Roll forward or Point-in-time) for the selected database. Then, click Next.
Information
Roll forward restoration is performed by the use of a transaction log. This is available only when nothing is missing from the log file. This can restore database to the latest point recorded in the log.
Point-in-time restoration is performed by the use of backup data. This can restore database to the point in time when its backup was taken.
Note
A database that is in use is not displayed. In the case of Database Availability Group (DAG) configuration, any database in use on servers other than the selected server is not displayed, either.
To restore a database that is in use, exit the restore wizard, dismount the database and restart the restore wizard.
Selecting passive in DAG configuration switches to active when the wizard is completed.
The Input of Authentication page is displayed. Enter the following authentication information and click Next.

Check the displayed information, and then click Execute.
The confirmation message about the restore processes is displayed in the Confirm dialog box. If no problem about the restore for the displayed database exists, click OK.
The Restore of Exchange Server dialog box (dialog box to notify of having accepted restore execution) is displayed. Clicking Done transits to the Main screen or Server Overview screen (returns to the wizard's starting point).
