The procedure to display/change the REC transfer buffer setting is as follows:
To display the REC transfer buffer list, perform from step 1 to step 4.
To change the REC transfer buffer setting, perform all steps.
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click Advanced Copy.
The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning Advanced Copy.
On the Category pane, click REC Buffer.
The created REC transfer buffer list is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Action pane, click Modify under REC Buffer.
The screen to select remote partner is displayed.
Select the remote partner, and then click Next.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and then click Modify.
Note
The REC transfer buffer is set to both of REC copy source and destination ETERNUS Disk storage systems when using the ETERNUS SF system. Therefore, free space more than specified as Size is required on both of them.
As for maximum REC transfer buffer capacity of each ETERNUS Disk storage system, refer to the hardware manual.
