From version 16.2, the ETERNUS DX8700 S3/DX8900 S3 can be used.
For the Tier pool created with Automated Storage Tiering, the following operations related to for the Tier pool balancing can be performed:
Starting / Stopping the Tier pool balancing
Starting the Tier pool balancing when performing the sub-pool capacity expansions
Between storage devices that use the Storage Cluster function, FTVs of the Secondary Storage (standby system) can be evaluated and relocated using FTV access status data of the Primary Storage (active system). Even after a failover from the Primary Storage to the Secondary Storage, this enables operations to maintain pre-failover access performance.
Refer to "Access Status Data Synchronization" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for Optimization Function for information on this function.
Refer to "Storage Cluster Function" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for information on the Storage Cluster function.
In targets that have the ETERNUS Disk storage systems information automatically updated, Automated Storage Tiering information is included.
