The NAS management function supports the following features to use the ETERNUS DX100 S3/DX200 S3, DX500 S3/DX600 S3 as a NAS device.
Deleting the NAS backup settings
Refer to "Backup of NAS Environment" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for Copy Control Module for details.
In the inter-box backup/restore function of a NAS volume, when the firmware version of both operation side device and standby side device is V10L51 or later, a NAS volume on the operation side device can be backed up/restored onto any NAS volume on the standby side device.
When the firmware version number of a storage device is V10L53 or later, even if CMs and NAS Engines in the storage device are not in normal condition, a NAS volume can be backed up.
The "NAS Engine" is a NAS control service inside a CM.
