This section describes how to explain the message items as well as the configuration of this manual.
Configuration
In this manual, messages are classified into the following chapters:
"Messages output to Event Viewer or SYSLOG"
Collects the messages output to Event Viewer or SYSLOG. For more information, see "Chapter 2 Messages Output to Event Viewer or SYSLOG".
"Messages Output to other than Event Log or SYSLOG"
Collects the messages output to locations other than Event Viewer or SYSLOG, for example, command messages and standard output messages. For more information, see "Chapter 3 Messages Output to Other Than Event Log or SYSLOG".
Message description order
Messages are described for each section and item in the order below.
Messages with an event ID are arranged in the order of event ID numbers. Event IDs beginning with 0 precedes 1. For example, event ID 0003 precedes event ID 1.
Messages without an event ID are arranged in message ascending order.
Message description items
The message description items are shown below; however, they vary depending on messages.
Explains the meaning of the message.
Explains the parameters included in the message text.
Explains how the system deals with the error shown in the output message.
Explains the event that could cause the message to be output.
Explains how the user should deal with the error shown in the output message.
Explains how the system administrator should deal with the error shown in the output message.
Explains the command that caused the message to be output. This item is described only in "3.11 Messages of Task Link Commands".
