Synopsis
[To register/change]
jobschsetcal -ent definition file name [-sys subsystem-number](*1)
[To delete]
jobschsetcal -del schedule pattern name [-sys subsystem-number](*1)
[-sys subsystem-number] is the option of Systemwalker Operation Manager EE.
Description
The jobschsetcal command registers, changes and deletes a schedule pattern. By using the schedule pattern, you can easily set the startup days of job net. This is particularly useful when registering a job net having startup days scheduled in a cyclic pattern or when setting similar startup days to multiple job nets.
Options
-ent
Based on the information in the definition file, registers and changes the schedule pattern.
definition file name
Indicates the name of the file storing the schedule pattern control statement.
For more details on the schedule pattern control statement, see the "4.3.1 Schedule Pattern Control Statement".
-del
Deletes schedule pattern information.
schedule pattern name
Specifies the name of a schedule pattern to be deleted.
-sys subsystem-number
In the system with multiple subsystems, this option is used to specify the subsystem that you want to operate. Specify the target subsystem number using a range of 0 to 9. If omitted, the default is subsystem 0.
Command Location
Windows | Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory\MpWalker.JM\bin |
Solaris | /usr/bin |
Privilege Required
System administrator (user belonging to the Administrator group or superuser) privileges are required.
Cautions
The schedule pattern can be registered/changed/deleted only by a system administrator (user belonging to the Administrator group or superuser). General users cannot use the jobschsetcal command.
If the [Halt recreation of startup days] option is not selected in the [Use function2] sheet in the [Define Jobscheduler Startup Parameters] window, note the following:
If a registered schedule pattern is changed, the startup days of the job net for which the pattern is set are reset. After changing the schedule pattern, make sure or correct the startup days.
Completing this command does not guarantee the completion of processing requests. Thus, after executing this command, it may take time to reflect settings to startup days of each job net on the server.
By using this command, when you add a new schedule pattern with the same name as the one already existing, the already existing schedule pattern will be overwritten and recreated. Therefore, this makes the contents of the existing schedule pattern the same as the contents of control statement in the newly created schedule pattern.
