You need to register basic operation patterns as the standard schedule. The standard schedule is the operation schedule (startup sequence) for services and applications (only applications for UNIX system) set as default.
Upon server startup, the services and applications (only applications for UNIX system) are started according to the operation schedule.
The following describes procedure to set a standard schedule for services and applications.
Procedure
Displaying the Service/Application Execution Pattern dialog box
Select Service/Application Execution from the Job Selection window of the Systemwalker Operation Manager window. Then, select Service/Application Execution Pattern from the Options menu.

Displays the currently-selected execution pattern names (Standard Schedule/Holiday Schedule/User-specific definition patterns (up to seven)).

Check this option to use the calendar.
Displays the list of calendars registered.
Specifies the display method (normal display, no display or icon display) when starting up the application. This option is not selectable for UNIX.

Select Standard Schedule in the Service/Application Execution Pattern Definition dialog box. Then, click Pattern Setup.

Setting the standard schedule information for services and applications
Make the following settings using the Service Execution sheet or the Application Execution sheet of the Service/Application Execution Pattern Definition dialog box.
The Service Execution sheet [Windows version]
Define the types and startup sequence (execution pattern) of services which are executed upon server startup.

Adds the services. Clicking this button displays the Define Service Information dialog box.
Changes the service information selected with the cursor. Clicking this button displays the Define Service Information dialog box.
Change the information referring to the settings of the Define Service Information dialog box shown below.
Deletes the service selected with the cursor.

Make the necessary settings in the Service Information dialog box displayed by clicking Add or Change in the Service Execution dialog box.

Specifies a service name registered in Services in the Control Panel.
Specifies a service name registered in Services in the Control Panel.
Specifies the parameter at service execution.
Checks the preceding service status and determines whether to execute the services when the preceding service is specified.
Application Execution sheet
Specifies the execution file name, parameter and execution directory.

Make the necessary settings in the Application Information dialog box displayed by clicking Add or Change in the Application Execution dialog box.

Specifies the application execution file.
Describes the parameter to be passed to the execution file.
Specifies the directory where the application is executed.

Click OK in the Service/Application Execution Pattern Definition dialog box.
Applying a calendar
Select one of the following to use a calendar.
To apply the standard schedule only to weekdays:
Check the Use Calendar check box to select the calendar to use. The standard schedule will automatically be applied only to weekdays, according to the calendar information.
To apply the standard schedule regardless of weekdays or holidays:
Do not check the Use Calendar check box. The standard schedule will automatically be applied to all days.
Saving the standard schedule
Click OK in the Service/Application Execution Pattern dialog box to save the standard schedule.

Using calendars
When the calendar to be used is changed
All the specified information on the process dates of service/application execution will be disabled. If the execution patterns are assigned on daily basis in the Service/Application Execution Pattern window, the process dates of services and applications must be specified again.
When the contents of the calendar to be used are changed
The process dates of service and application execution are set, linked with the changed contents of the calendar.
Registering applications [Windows version]
If an application that displays a window is registered in Windows operating system, the window will not appear on the desktop where the user who has logged in. To run an application with a window displayed, register the application as a startup program.
Information
The applied schedule can be temporarily disabled. Select the desired service/application execution days, then select Disable Schedule from the pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking. This disables the schedule on all the selected days, and no service or application is started.
