  2. Operating the queue

    Operate as follows.

    Pausing queues:

Select Pause from the Queue Operation of the File menu (or select Pause from the Queue Operation pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking).

    Releasing queue pausing:

Select Start from the Queue Operation of the File menu (or select Start from the Queue Operation pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking).

    Temporarily changing definitions:

Select Change from the Queue Operation of the File menu (or select Change from the Queue Operation pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking) to display the Change Queue Definition Temporarily dialog box.

In the Change Queue Definition Temporarily dialog box, the definition items shown below can be temporarily changed in response to situations such as a job execution delay caused by the congestion of the executing queue. The attributes of the temporarily changed queue will be retained until the Job Execution Control is restarted in the initialization mode.

Information

Queue operation on the server

It is also possible to operate the queues from the server. To operate the queues from the server, use the qstop (stop queue), qstart (release queue pausing) and qalter (temporarily change) commands. For details of each command, see the Systemwalker Operation Manager Reference Guide.
