The archive usage is displayed on the Used datastore/archive capacity panel of the CSG Web GUI dashboard.
Point
This panel is displayed by switching from the Used datastore capacity panel. The Used datastore capacity panel is displayed by default.
This panel is suitable for checking the used state of the cloud storage and for checking whether archives can be created in an operation that creates archives.
To check only the used datastore capacity, switch this panel to the Used datastore capacity panel. Refer to "4.5.4 Switching the Capacity Panel" for information on how to change the capacity panel.
Figure 4.7 Figure 4.7 Example of Information Displayed on the Used Datastore/Archive Panel
The used datastore capacity ratio and used archive capacity ratio to the license capacity are displayed as a pie chart.
The values of Datastore, Unused datastore, Archive, Unused, and License capacity are displayed to the second decimal point.
When the datastore is not registered, a pie chart and legend are not displayed.
Item | Description |
---|---|
Datastore | Displays the datastore capacity currently in use. |
Unused datastore | Displays the area reserved as the datastore capacity but currently not in use. |
Archive | Displays the total capacity of the data in the archive. |
Unused | Displays the part of the license capacity that is not used as the datastore capacity or archive capacity. |
In use(%) | Displays the rate of the used capacity (the total value for Datastore, Unused datastore, and Archive) to the license capacity as a percentage. |
License capacity | Displays the total capacity for licenses that are enabled. |
Datastore usage rate(%) | Displays the rate of the Datastore to the datastore capacity as a percentage. |
Reduced rate(%) | Displays how much the current storage amount has been reduced by (after deduplication/compression) when compared to the total data capacity (before deduplication/compression) stored in this product. Note that this value does not include the archive data capacity. Reduced rate (%) = (1 - the amount of data after deduplication and compression / the amount of data before deduplication and compression) * 100. |
Point
The archive data capacity is almost the same as the used datastore capacity when archives are created. This indicates that archives can be created when the value of Datastore is less than Unused.
The values displayed in Datastore differ from the values displayed in Transferred on the Used Cache Capacity panel. Datastore displays all the data that has already been transferred to the cloud provider (including data that does not exist in the cache).
