H.5 Operation

Operation of AdvancedCopy Manager in the Oracle VM Server for SPARC Environment

For details on the procedure of the backup operation, refer to the following sections:

Operation of AdvancedCopy Manager CCM in the Oracle VM Server for SPARC Environment

Perform the following procedure:

1. Configure the environment for AdvancedCopy Manager CCM.

   For details, refer to "Setup" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for Copy Control Module.

   Note

   For Guest Domain, the virtual device must be specified as the Access volume.
   For details, refer to "H.4.2 Supported Device for Guest Domain".

2. Perform the operations for AdvancedCopy Manager CCM.

   For details, refer to "Operation" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for Copy Control Module.
