Change (including addition and deletion) the IP address of a Management Server as follows:
If only a physical IP address needs to be changed and the Management Server uses a logical IP address, then perform only steps 3 and 4. Otherwise, perform all steps.
On the Management Server, change the system IP address, and restart the Management Server
On the Management Server, create a server information change instruction file, and then execute the stgxfwcmmodsrv command with the -f option specified to change the IP address. When using the replication management function, execute the swsrprecoverres command with the -r option and the -h option on the Management Server. Specify the server name of the Managed Server running the replication operation with the -h option.
If the Storage Cruiser's agent has been installed on the Management Server implement the following procedures:
Stop the Storage Cruiser's agent daemon.
Change the starting IP address of the Storage Cruiser's agent.
Start the Storage Cruiser's agent daemon.
Refer to "Starting and Stopping Agent" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for information on how to start and stop the Storage Cruiser's agent. Refer to "setagtip (Agent Information Change Command)" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for information on how to change the activation IP address of the Storage Cruiser's agent.
