Additional Recovery Operation after Failback

This section explains additional recovery on the switchover source site after a failback operation.

For the additional recovery function, refer to "2.4 Limitation of switchover scope and additional recovery".

Before performing additional recovery, confirm that the following conditions are satisfied.

For additional recovery by tenant, failback of tenants to be restored from the switchover destination site to the switchover source site is complete.
For additional recovery of an entire site, failback of all tenants and global resources from the switchover destination site to the switchover source site is complete.
Disks used by the following resources that are to be restored have not been deleted or unmounted from VM hosts and physical servers in the switchover source site.

- L-Platforms
- Tenants
- Image Resources
Disks used by the following resources that are to be restored have not been reused on the switchover source site.
- L-Servers
- L-Platforms
- Tenants
- Image Resources
Switchover information used at switchover is deployed in the additional recovery information folder.

For details on how to specify additional recovery information folders, refer to "3.3 Manager Installation and Configuration".

In case the switchover information has been corrupted on the switchover source site, copy the information from the switchover destination site to the switchover source site.

The procedure for additional recovery operation is as follows:

Perform additional recovery using a batch command.

When Failback Was Performed Using the Blade Chassis Degradation Configuration

During failback, network resources are recovered on the switchover destination site according to the settings of network resources on the switchover source site.

After failback, configure the following setting as necessary.

Configure the external connection ports of network resources.
