To start the cluster application on only one node when another node cannot be started due to some error, for example, take the following steps to start the cluster application forcibly.

If the netmirror slice is in INVALID state on the disk of the node on which the cluster application is forcibly started, restore the slice state.
Execute the following command on the node. For -d option, specify the disk name of the disk that is connected with the node among all the disks belonging to the netmirror group.
# sdxfix -V -c class_name -v netmirror_volume_name -d disk_name -e force -x NoRdchk |
Start the cluster application forcibly.

In this case, the slice on the forcibly started node becomes ACTIVE while the slice of another node becomes INVALID. After that, the synchronization copying of the netmirror volume is inhibited.
