If performing automatic mount during system startup without registering to the RMS resource, the file system created to the volume of the local class to which the iSCSI device is registered, add "#GDS#" to the line head of the entry for the /etc/vfstab file.
If "Yes" is selected for the [Mount] setting on GDS Management View's File System Configuration screen, since the entry is automatically added to the /etc/vfstab file, be sure to always add "#GDS#" to the line head.
[Example of the /etc/vfstab file]
#GDS#/dev/sfdsk/class0001/dsk/volume0001 /dev/sfdsk/class0001/rdsk/volume0001 /mount1 ufs - no - |
If written as above, GDS will execute the processes for the mounting and unmounting of the target file system in the following manner.
GDS mounts the target file systems with /etc/rc2.d/S06sfdsk2 during system startup and unmounts them with /etc/rc0.d/K89sfdsk2 during system stop.
Except for "device to mount," "mount point," and "FS type," GDS ignores the specifications for the /etc/vfstab file and executes only mount and unmount.
