5.7 Collect Trace of Log Viewer

This section describes how to set the trace of Log Viewer.

Note

Perform debugging trace in specified cases only.

When the data for investigation is collected in large amounts, the disk may be stressed. Collect the trace of Log Viewer under the instruction of Fujitsu's technical staff. .

The procedure is as follows.

1. Open the "DTK.ini" file under the folder of C: \Inetpub\Scripts\DTK of the Management Server (Master Management Server in case of a 3-level system composition) with a text editor.

2. In TraceLogLV=0 of the [Logviewer] section, modify the value from 0 to 5.

3. Save the "DTK.ini" file by overwriting.

4. Stop the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" service.

5. Start the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" service.

6. Start Log Viewer and perform the playback operation.

   Trace collection is started.
   The "SWDTK_LV_F3JMV999.log" file is generated/updated under C:\Inetpub\Scripts\DTK\Log\LV (the part of 999 is 3 digits of numbers).

7. Stop the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" service.

8. Change the value of the [Logviewer] session of the "DTK.ini" file back to TraceLogLV=0.

9. Save "DTK.ini" by overwriting.

10. Start the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" service.
