To use the Automated QoS function, enable the function by starting the Automated QoS function. The Automated QoS function must be in an enabled state for all ETERNUS Disk storage systems that use the Automated QoS function.
Startup the Automated QoS function from the Web Console. Refer to "Enable/Disable Automated QoS Function" in the ETERNUS SF Web Console Guide for information on the startup methods.

There is a setting for enabling/disabling the QoS function of the ETERNUS Disk storage system. For Automated QoS to run, the QoS function of the target storage device must be enabled. Automated QoS enables the QoS function of the ETERNUS Disk storage system when either of the following is satisfied:
If ETERNUS SF Manager is started
If Automated QoS is run
Check whether the status of the QoS function for the ETERNUS Disk storage system is enabled/disabled with ETERNUS Web GUI or the command line.
