The procedure to add a device to the registered tape library (other than ETERNUS LT250/LT270) and the procedure to display/delete the device in the registered tape library (other than ETERNUS LT250/LT270) are as follows:
To display the device list, perform from step 1 to step 4.
Otherwise, perform all steps.
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
On the Category pane, click Tape Library (Manual).
The registered tape libraries are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target tape library.
On the Category pane, click Device.
The devices registered in the tape library are displayed on the Main pane.
Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.
On the Action pane, click Add under Device.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and then click Add.
On the Main pane, click the target device.
The detail of the selected device is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, check the target device checkbox.
On the Action pane, click Delete under Device.
The information confirmation screen is displayed.
Confirm the information, and then click Delete.
Information
When a device is deleted, the port information registered in the device is deleted at the same time.
