The Consolidated Patch can be applied from Web Console.
Refer to "Apply Consolidated Patch/Display Application Status/Delete All Patches" in the ETERNUS SF Web Console Guide for information on the procedures for application.
Point
After the operations have been completed, the user that had been logged in is automatically logged out. In addition, the services of the ETERNUS SF Manager are automatically stopped after 30 seconds.
Once the application of the patch has been completed, the services of the ETERNUS SF Manager are automatically started. Login after the ETERNUS SF Manager has started.
In cases when it is not necessary to apply the patch, such as when the Consolidated Patch that has been uploaded with the application of the Consolidated Patch has already been applied, the services of the ETERNUS SF Manager are not stopped. In this case, it is not necessary to login again.
Note
In cases when stop or restart of the services of the ETERNUS SF Manager have not been implemented automatically, it is possible that the application of the patch has failed. Confirm whether the ETERNUS SF Manager has output an error to the system log or the event log of the server.
In the case that an error has been output, refer to the article of the corresponding message number in the ETERNUS SF Messages for information about the issue and recovery actions. In the case that an error has not been output, after some time has passed, reconfirm whether it is possible to access Web Console.
