When using default install, it is not necessary to edit an installation parameter file.
An installation parameter file is a file in which to specify installation parameters such as installation destination directory and port number. This file is stored on DVD-ROM and default values are set for respective installation parameters. In addition, this file has both automatic service activation and automatic service activation prevention. For details on the installation parameter file, refer to "D.9 Installation Parameter File (for ETERNUS SF Manager for Solaris/Linux)".
The installation parameter file is stored on the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM Mediapack for Solaris (Manager Program) (2/2)" of this version.
Storage location
For automatic service activation
dvdromMountDir/Manager_unix/install_parameter.txt
For prevention of automatic service activation
dvdromMountDir/Manager_unix/install_parameter_not_start_service.txt
When changing installation parameters, copy the installation parameter file on the DVD-ROM to an optional location and edit the copied file. For description of each installation parameter, refer to "D.10 Installation Parameters (for ETERNUS SF Manager for Solaris/Linux)".
Information
The file for automatic service activation (install_parameter.txt) is used to activate the ETERNUS SF Manager services after the installation is complete. The file for the prevention of automatic service activation (install_parameter_not_start_service.txt) is used to prevent the ETERNUS SF Manager services from being activated after the installation is complete.
