In the location map function, for map files, machine can be configured, the configuration for the configured machine can be cancelled and machine can be moved to other map file. Use these functions to create map file.
Configuration of machine
Open the map file, and the operation procedure from configuration of machine to the saving of map file is shown below.
Log on to the AC menu with the account of system administrator or section administrator.
The AC menu will be displayed.
Click Location Map.
Microsoft(R) Visio(R) will be started.
Set the target folder for saving map file. Perform during the installation of the following settings and when the target folder for saving is modified.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Environment Construction > Setup of the Storage Location of Map-File, set the patch for saving map file in the displayed Setting of Target for Saving Map-File window.
The Setting of Target for Saving Map-File window will be displayed.
*Perform the allocation to the network drive again for the saving target of map file. Set a path of network drive as saving target folder.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Operation of Map File > Open.
The Open Map File window will be displayed.
After selecting the setting location from the Open Map File window, click the OK button.
The map file of the selected setting location will be displayed.

Error occurred when the map file that is being edited by another administrator is selected
When the setting location that is being edited by another administrator is selected, the following message will be displayed.
Execute again after the other use has finished editing.
* On the map file, when the machine has been configured, the asset management number under the shape of machine will be displayed.
* In the following cases, machine will not be displayed.
When the user that uses the location map function is the section administrator, the machine of other sections will not be displayed.
When multiple setting locates are associated on the map file, the machine with different setting locations will not be displayed.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Confirm and Configure the Difference with Asset Ledger.
The Confirm and Configure the Difference window will be displayed.
Click the Selection button of the Confirm and Configure the Difference window.
The list of machine without configuration will be displayed in the displayed map file.
The machine that has completed the configuration of map file will not be displayed in the list.
For machine without associated shapes, the shape name will be displayed as Standard Shape.
Select the checkbox of machine to be configured, and click the OK button.
Click the OK button of the Confirm and Configure the Difference window.
The selected machine will be configured virtually on the map file.
When the setting of automatic configuration is performed, machine will be configured automatically. When the setting of automatic configuration is not performed, it will be configured to the location at top left of the map file.
Configure the machine that has been configured virtually to the machine physically exists on the map file.
Point
The information of machine can be configured after confirmation
Double-shape the shape of the configured machine and the information of machine can be confirmed. Use it as the reference data at the time of moving to the formal configuration location.
Repeat the above "10.", and create the map file.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Operation of Map File > Save to save the map file.

Save the map file from the location map function
The result of editing such as file saving inside the Microsoft(R) Visio(R) menu will not be reflected to the map file. While saving, make sure to save the above operation.
If the x button of the map file is clicked to close the map file without saving it, the confirmation message for whether to save or not will be displayed.
Note
When map file is not matched, it is unable to save
When the map file is edited by multiple administrators, the machine may not match with the map file sometimes.
Example)
When the Administrator A configures the Machine A to the map file of Setting Location A
Before saving the operation of the above "a)", the Administrator B configures the Machine A to the map file of Setting Location B
In this case, the Machine A will be configured to any one of Setting Location A and B.
If inconsistency occurred as the above example, the following message will be displayed when saving and the map file cannot be saved.
After this message has been closed, the status confirmation icon will be displayed for the correspondent machine for whether to confirm other map files. Save after performing the Cancel Configuration operation of the correspondent machine from this map file.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Operation of Map File > Close to close the map file.
Cancellation of configuration
For the machine that has completed the configuration of map file, the following shows the operation procedure to cancel configuration (delete from map file).
Right-click the machine that has been configured, and click Cancel Configuration in the displayed menu.
When performing the cancellation of the configuration of multiple machines, after selecting all machines to be cancel operation and click Cancel Configuration.
The Cancellation Confirmation of Configuration window will be displayed.
Click the OK button to cancel the configuration.
Move to other map
The following shows the operation procedure of moving the machine that has been configured to another map.
Right-click the machine that has been configured, and click Move to Map of Others in the displayed menu.
To move multiple machines, after selecting all the machines to be moved, click Move to Map of Others.
The It Moves to Other Map-Files window will be displayed.
Select the setting location to be moved, click the OK button.
The icon of correspondent machine to be moved will be displayed.
Point
The moving can be cancelled
Right-click the machine to be moved to here and click Cancel Moving in the displayed menu, the moving can be cancelled.
From the menu bar of Microsoft(R) Visio(R), select Desktop Patrol > Location Map > Operation of Map File > Save to save the map file.
Once saved, the machine to be moved will be deleted from the map file.
In addition, since the machine moved to the map file at destination of moving will be configured virtually, open the map file in the destination of moving and adjust configuration location .etc.
The operation of moving to other map file is performed while saving the map file. Do not move when not to save the map file.
