9.3 Referencing Collection Information in Security Settings

You can reference collection information in security settings.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the main menu, and click Assets Management > Smart Devices.

    The Smart Devices Information window will be displayed.

  2. In the submenu, click Security Information. The window shown below will be displayed.
    If you selected a department from the department tree in the left pane, security information for the smart devices in the selected department is displayed in the right pane.

    The items displayed in the screen are as follows.

    Android

    Screen Lock Type

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings for the lock release method when the smart devices have been locked:

    • Not set

    • Pattern

    • PIN

    • Password

    Idle Time until Screen Lock

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings for the time that the smart device remains idle before being locked:

    • Cannot be collected

    • More than 20 min

    • >15 min to 20 min

    • >10 min to 15 min

    • >5 min to 10 min

    • >3 min to 5 min

    • >2 min to 3 min

    • >1 min to 2 min

    • 30 sec to 1 min

    • >15 to 30 sec

    • 15 seconds or less

    Enable Password

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings for activation of the password lock policy:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Disabled

    • Enabled

    Number of Characters for Password

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings for the number of characters required in the password:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Up to 4 characters

    • 5 characters or more

    • 6 characters or more

    • 7 characters or more

    • 8 characters or more

    Password Complexity

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings for the complexity of the password:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Letters

    • Alphanumeric characters

    • Alphanumeric characters and symbols

    Automatic Setting of Date and Time

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether to use the time provided by the network:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Manual

    • Automatic

    Automatic Setting of Time Zone

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether to use the time zone provided by the network:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Manual

    • Automatic

    Storage Encryption

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether storage encryption is implemented:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Not encrypted

    • Encrypted

    Root Device

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether the device has been illegally modified by rooting:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Rooted

    • Not rooted

    USB Debug

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether the USB debugging feature has been activated:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Enabled

    • Disabled

    iOS

    Passcode

    Indicates the number of smart devices with each of the following settings indicating whether a passcode is set:

    • Cannot be collected

    • Not set

    • Set

  3. In the Security Information list, click the Corresponding Number link you want to view.

    The window shown below will be displayed. This window lists the smart devices for which Not set is specified for Screen Lock Type.
