In the ROR console orchestration tree, right-click the target network resource in a network pool, and select [Delete] from the popup menu.
The [Delete Resource] dialog is displayed.
Click the [OK] button.
When VLANs for External Connection Ports of LAN Switch Blades have been Configured
Use the following procedure to delete a network resource.
Refer to the instructions given in "When VLANs for External Connection Ports of LAN Switch Blades Have not been Configured" to delete a target network resource.
If the VLAN configured for the external connection port of the LAN switch blade is not necessary, follow the procedure from step 3 to delete a target network resource.
In the ROR console server resource tree, right-click the target LAN switch blade and select [Modify]-[Network Settings] from the popup menu.
The [VLAN Settings] dialog is displayed.
Perform the following settings:
Under VLAN, select "Change".
Select a VLAN ID.
Select "None" as the VLAN type to delete.
For details, refer to "7.4.2 Changing VLANs Set for External Connection Ports of LAN Switch Blades".
Click the [OK] button.
Confirm that the VLAN has been deleted.
In the ROR console server tree, click the LAN switch blade that includes the port specified as the external connection port of the network resource. In the switch details displayed, confirm that no VLAN is configured for the specified port.
Note
Deleting a network resource with a VLAN configured for an external connection port of a LAN switch blade does not delete that VLAN.
When an admin LAN resource linked with an admin LAN subnet is deleted, the admin LAN subnet is also deleted. Prior to deleting admin LAN resources, delete all managed servers that have admin IP addresses within the subnet scope of the admin LAN resource, from the server tool of the ROR console.
