7.5.4 Disabling the Network Device Management Function

This section explains the procedure for reverting the settings of "7.5.1 Enabling the Network Device Management Function".

1. Delete network devices

   Delete all network devices registered in the network device tree.

2. Edit the definition file

   Configure the value in the following definition file: If the definition file does not exist, create one.

   Storage Location of the Definition File

   [Windows Manager]
   Installation_folder\SVROR\Manager\etc\customize_data\unm_mon.rcxprop

   [Linux Manager]
   /etc/opt/FJSVrcvmr/customize_data/unm_mon.rcxprop

   Settings of the Definition File

   Perform either of the following:

   • Modify the ve_support_extend parameter value to false

   • Delete the definition line of the ve_support_extend parameter.

3. Restart the manager.

   After saving the definition file above, restart the manager.
