This section explains the procedure for enabling the network device management function.
Reconsider the memory capacity
When this function is enabled, an additional 600 MB of memory is required for the manager. Check the memory capacity of the manager, and mount additional memory if the current memory is insufficient.
Delete LAN switches
When LAN switches have been registered in the network device tree using the LAN switch discovery function, delete all such LAN switches.
Edit the definition file
Configure the value in the following definition file: If the definition file does not exist, create one.

Settings of the Definition File
Add the following line to the definition file.
ve_support_extend = true
Restart the manager.
After saving the definition file above, restart the manager.

When configuring this setting, replace the "LAN switch" used in the manuals of Resource Orchestrator with "network device".
