2.4 Hardware discovery-related Messages

Corrective Action

When "MdrDbException: code = DELETE_FILE_ERROR" is displayed for the detailed message, perform discovery using the cmdbrefresh command with the -a option added. For details, refer to "cmdbrefresh (Observed Record Collection Request Command)" in the "Reference Guide".

In other cases, collect investigation data, and then contact Fujitsu technical support.

There is a server that Software Configuration Manager could not collect information for. (IP address = {0})

There is a server for which discovery of hardware information or virtual environment information failed.

Parameter

{0}: IP address of the server. When there are multiple IP addresses, they are output separated by commas.

Corrective Action

Check that the chassis, servers, and hypervisors to perform discovery on can be connected to.

When the SNMP community name of the chassis has been changed, it is necessary to also change the SNMP community name using the hardware information management command.

When the connecting user settings of blade servers, rack mount servers, or hypervisors have been changed, it is necessary to also change the user ID and password using the hardware information management command.
