7.16.27 Add/Change/Delete Antivirus Server

The procedure to add/change/delete the antivirus server is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click NAS Management.
    The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning the NAS Management.

  4. On the Category pane, click Anti-Virus.
    The antivirus server list is displayed on the Main pane.

  5. On the Action pane, click Set under Anti-Virus Server.
    The Set Anti-Virus Server page is displayed.

    Item Name

    Explanation

    Activation Code

    This is an activation code that is obtained from the antivirus security vendor.

    If this item is set without entering any values, the activation code can be deleted.

    The input condition is as follows:

    • Alphanumeric characters (excluding ? ")

    Anti-Virus Server

    This is the IP address or FQDN of the antivirus server.

    The input condition is as follows:

    • For IPv4

      xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (xxx is an integer from 0 to 255)

    • For IPv6

      xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx (xxxx is a hexadecimal number from 0 to ffff)

    • For FQDN

      1 to 255 alphanumeric characters, dot ("."), hyphen ("-")

    Scanning Port No.

    This is the scanning port of the antivirus server.

    The input condition is as follows:

    • An integer from 0 to 65,535

    Monitoring Port No.

    This is the monitoring port of the antivirus server.

    The input condition is as follows:

    • An integer from 0 to 65,535

  6. Enter the necessary information, and then click Set.

Point

  • Prior to registering or changing the activation code, the antivirus server must be set with an activation code.

  • A NAS interface must be configured to use the antivirus function.

  • The IP address of the antivirus server cannot be set with an IPv6 link local address. When using IPv6, input an IPv6 global address.
    When using FQDN, set it so that it is not converted to an IPv6 link local address.
