CORBA開発支援機能は、NetCOBOL開発パッケージに含まれるInterstage Studio向けプラグイン(以降では、COBOLプラグインといいます)を、別売りのInterstage Studioで提供されるEclipse 3.4基盤のワークベンチ（以降では、Interstage Studioワークベンチといいます）に組み込んだ場合に使用できる機能です。
