You need to configure your Windows Firewall to accept connections from the Live Help applications. The required settings differ depending on the communications type and the Live Help applications. Refer to the table below and configure Windows Firewall on your system using one of the methods marked with .

Note
When you run the Live Help Client as a service, or run it on Windows Vista or later, Windows Server 2008 or later, the Windows(R) Security Alert dialog box will not appear. Take the Method 2 or 3 to unblock incoming Live Help traffic.
