Use the Session Journal Setup application to configure the Session Journal.
You can enable, disable or configure the Session Journal using the Session Journal Setup application; SJSETUP.EXE. This application is located in the installation folder for the Live Help Client and Expert applications.
Note
Only users with administrative privileges can run the Session Journal Setup program when the access control is enabled on the Live Help Client or Expert program using Live Help Security Setup command. If a user without administrative privileges attempts to run the Session Journal Setup program in such situation, it will result in an error message indicating that access to the program is denied.

To run the Session Journal Setup application, perform the following steps:
Using Windows(R) Explorer, locate the installation folder for the Live Help application you are using.
Within that folder, locate the SJSETUP.EXE application and execute it.

Listed below is a description of the options that are configurable using SJSETUP.EXE.
Change Settings On...
To select which Live Help product you wish to change settings for, select the appropriate radio button. If a Live Help product is not installed, that radio button will be disabled.
Session Journal Function
This section of the dialog box contains options for configuring the Session Journal.
On/OffThis radio button enables or disables the Session Journal.
Reset to DefaultThis button restores all settings pertaining to the Session Journal back to the default configuration.
Folder to save Journal filesThis field contains the path of the folder that you wish to save journal files to. This defaults to the \JOURNAL folder inside the Live Help installation folder. Click the Browse button to change the folder.
Date formatUse this drop-down list to select the format of the date entries stored in the Session Journal file. Your choices are mm/dd/yyyy (e.g. 11/01/2003), yyyy/mm/dd, or the system format. Refer to the Control Panel in Windows(R) to determine what the current date format is for your system.
Number of days to keep Journal filesThis option lets you specify how many days of Journal files you want to store on your hard drive. You can specify a value of 0 (keep all journal files) or a value between 1 and 90 (keep 1 to 90 days of Journal files).
After you have configured any options, you can press the Apply button to apply the changes and configure another Live Help product if desired. Selecting another Live Help product without first applying the configuration will discard any changes that you made. Pressing the OK button will apply any changes and exit the program. Pressing the Cancel button will discard any changes that have not already been applied and exit the program.
