Use the Compare By menu item on the OPTIONS menu to configure settings for the Compare operation. Multiple compare criteria can be selected under this menu. When any of these criteria are selected, a check mark is placed before that item. The compare criteria that are checked will be added to the default compare criteria, which are Size, Date Modified and Version.
Attributes:
If selected, the attribute of the file/folder is used as one of the criteria for the Compare operation.
Check sum:
If selected, the file's check sum (if any) is used as one of the criteria for the Compare operation.
