Use the Local menu item on the OPTIONS menu to confirm file operations, confirm overwrites, and send newer files during transfers to the Client's computer. When an option is selected, a check mark appears next to the menu item.
If the Support Specialist wants a confirmation dialog to display before transferring, deleting, or renaming files and folders, choose Confirm All File Operations.
When this option is selected, a dialog box displays when the file to be transferred already exists at the Client's computer. The Support Specialist is given the option to overwrite the file or skip the update.
If Client File Exchange has been configured with Confirm Overwrites specified under the Remote options, the confirm dialog box displays on the Support Specialist's system first.
While sending files to the Client's computer and one or more of the files exists on the Client's computer, this option sends only the files that have a newer date and time. If the date and time of the local file is the same or older than the remote one, the file is not sent.
If this option is not selected, all files are sent to the Client regardless of any date and time differences.
This option does not affect files received from the Client's computer. All files are received regardless of any differences in date and time.
