You've just had a short demonstration of some of the features of Fujitsu's Live Help. The following paragraphs discuss the different ways you can disconnect from the Client:
To end the session and close the Client, click the Close Client button or select Close Client from the SESSION menu. A confirmation message box will display. Selecting the Yes button on the message will close the Live Help Client application on the Client's computer. Your Live Help Expert application stays running and the window and the toolbar remain, so you can connect to another Client.
If you would like to leave the session but keep the Client application running on the Client's computer, choose Leave from the SESSION menu. The Live Help Expert application stays running on your computer. Because the Client application continues to run, another Support Specialist can connect to the Client. You would use this method of disconnecting if you want to move to another session, but leave the Client application active.
To close the Live Help Expert application, choose Exit from the SESSION menu. The Live Help Expert application closes on your computer. If you choose Exit without closing the Client (with the Close Client button), the Client application stays running on the Client's computer.
Note
If the Live Help Client program is configured to run as a Windows(R) Service and start at Windows(R) boot, the Live Help Client application stays running even if you click Close Client button. The Live Help Client program returns to the Client startup dialog box, becoming ready for a future connection from another Support Specialist. Since this starting method is usually used on unattended workstations or servers, it is important that the Live Help Client application continues to run.
In the middle of recording where automatic saving option is disabled, if you choose the Exit command in the SESSION menu (or click the Exit button) to close Live Help Monitor which was started by Systemwalker Console or Integrated Console of Systemwalker Centric Manager, the recorded session data will be discarded.
Please continue on in this manual to learn more about Live Help. The following chapters explain all features in more detail and provide some tips to help you make your support sessions more effective.
